Opps.... I think I nearly forget I actually do have a blog! LOL<br /><br />Time flies! It's really fast! And, I just finished my final exam for semester 2! Seems only yesterday that I started my uni life...<br /><br />Regret that I didn't be hardworking enough. I called myself really lazy. Quite a lot of thing I do it last minute! Revision for exams was last minute super fast studying! Yes, sudying. Because I think I barely remember anything I have learned in the lecture throughot the whole semester! Sigh....<br /><br />For this whole month, I have been studying and prepare for exam. I slept at 4 something in the morning. Sounds really hardworking huh? Actually no... I didn't study anything in the morning. I only start after my lunch around 3pm. And, don't why the reason is, I can't concentrate in the afternoon. The real study time actually start around 10pm! Oh my....<br /><br />Did quite bad in some subject and I hope that I will be able to pass all.<br /><br />Nothing special happened since my last blog update. Nothing until this month. First, well, my 21st birthday. Nothing special, just simple dinner with my parent. Well, that's fine actually since I am having exam this month. Second, as birthday present from my parent, I got an iPhone 3G on 4th of May! Wow... Sounds not bad....<br /><br />Then, exam mode is on..... Until last Tuesday, where I received news that my housemate passed away in a car accident right in front of my university. Arh.... What a sad news. I hope he will Rest In Peace.... Also, the driver, which is also my friend, he has been sent to the hospital and receiving care. I don't know if he been discharged already, or still in the hospital. Hope he will recover soon, both physically and mentally. Since the one who passed away is his best friend.<br /><br />I think I need to stop here. I gotta go to bed now. Still need to go to campus for fabrication of the spring powered truck. Arh.... Milling, Lathe, Drilling machine, I am coming.... It has been a long time I didn't update my post here! LOL...<br /><br />Basically, I am kind of lazy in the last few months. And, I really have no idea what to write here. Haha.<br /><br />So, in August, I went to the PC fair in KLCC to buy my laptop. I made my order on the 3rd of August and they promised to me that I will be able to collect it within 2 weeks time. So, I wait... wait.... wait... Called them a few times, and the same answer I got is, next week la... >.<<br /><br />After exactly one month of waiting, finally they called me and told me that the laptop has just arrived and I can go to collect it now.... WOW.. I remember that evening, after I received their call, I quickly rush to Low Yat Plaza to collect it! After doing some checking, paid the money, and I brought home my first laptop in my life.<br /><br />Introducing my new laptop, the Asus M50Vm! Yeah! Haha. Am happy with it. Haha.<br /><br />Also in the middle of August, I got the reply from the accommodation office, telling me that my application to stay on-campus is not successful... They offered me an off-campus one, newly built houses. Went there to check it out, its quite nice and happy with it. Though, its very expensive! The room I am staying, cost RM480. Its a bit small but should be enough..<br /><br />So, I checked in on the 13th Sept, got my keys and clean the room. Oh my god! You can't believe just how dirty the room and the house. Spent me 3 hours plus to clean up the room. The next day, move in my things.<br /><br />15th Sept, finally the registration day come. I went to the university to register myself. Then, finally, I am a student of the University of Nottingham(Malaysia Campus)! LOL<br /><br />16th Sept, the induction programme for engineering students. From 9.30am to 3pm, listen to some talks and welcome speech.... Kind of boring and tired! Haha...<br /><br />Lecture starts on the 22nd of Sept. Woo.. Kind of excited! Haha...<br /><br />So, basically I will have 6 modules this semester.<br />1. Design and Macnufacture 1<br />2. Introduction to Materials and Materials Forming<br />3. Mechanic of Solids<br />4. Thermodynamics<br />5.Engineering Mathematics 1<br />6. Professional Studies<br /><br />lol... A bit worry.. Haha..<br /><br />After one week of lecture, nothing much, just some introduction and some basic thing.<br /><br />And now, this week, I am having a reading week(aka holiday) lol.. Have to say, I am quite disappointed and sad...<br /><br />By the end of April, I received the offer letter from The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, offer me an unconditional offer for the course Mechanical Engineering... The day after I received this offer letter, sad news from Singapore again.... Nanyang Technological University sent an e-mail to tell me that I am not successful..<br /><br />Early May, celebrate my 20th birthday... Haha... Special thanks to Yu Ting and Ee Wei!<br /><br />Then, visited Monash University in Sunway... The campus is really nice...<br /><br />Middle of May, I replied to Nottingham to accept the offer. Still gottta wait for about 4 months time before the course start!<br /><br />For now, I am planning my revision... Revision on Maths, Physics... to prepare myself before entering university life. I have forgotten everything I have learn... >.<<br /><br />The construction going on right beside my house is really annoying!!! Since February till now... They planned to built a 20+ floor condo! My goodness... Every day, morning 8 something till evening 7 something.... Making a lot of noise... I am getting crazy with it!<br /><br />As for my application to the National University of Singapore, application status still indicating application processing.... haha... But, I don't think I will be able to get an offer...<br /><br />Walao A... So long already oh.. haha... Woke up around 5pm. I checked my mail box. And, I finally received the e-mail I have been waiting for 3 weeks! I am in for the Aptitude Test and Final Interview. My heart beats faster and faster... I am so happy and excited the time I see the e-mail heading! Haha..<br /><br />So, I will be going to Singapore for an interview section next week! Will go and collect my air ticket on Friday...<br /><br />I believe it will be an exciting trip to Singapore! No matter what is result of the folowing interview, I will take it as an experience, a good one... an experience that will surely make me learn new things... And, most important is, I get to fly in a plane again! I guess the 2 flight will be in a Boeing B777-200! I never on board a triple 7 before!(Unless you count the time I have spent in flying simulator! LOL...)<br /><br />Today just went to apply my passport! Luckily I reach there early enough. After 2 hours, I collected my passport! Hmmm... quite efficient huh? Haha... <br /><br />Next week, it will be the first time in my life, to travel abroad to another country alone! I am kind of worry actually... But, I guess this will be a good opportunity for me to learn to be more independent! I always feel that I am over protected at home! Haha...<br /><br />Ops... We are quite lost as there is no sign board or even a piece of paper showing the way to the place where the open day should be. Kind of treasure hunt as my father slowly drive his car and move along. Finally, there is another security guard, and we stoped and ask him where to go. After that, we finally reached the place.<br /><br />Not many people in the open day. And, I realise that many visitors are SPM leavers, going for the foundation programme. The admin block is nice. Then, after filling up some form, I start to sit in the hall and wait for my turn to enquire information about those course I am interested. Spend around 30-40 minutes there.<br /><br />After that, I went to the campus tour counter to ask for a tour aroud the campus. They told me the next section is about 10 mins to go. Also, its the last section of campus tour. I expect there will still be some other people joining. What a surprise, it end up with just me and my parent. >.<<br /><br />At first, I think the campus is quite big. But, after the campus tour, I start to realise its not that big compare to my previous college. I have seen the engineering labs, computer labs, library, lecture hall and tutorial room, cafeteria...<br /><br />As I walk along, I can smell a strong smells of sulphur. I asked the tour guide, he told us... the campus is surrounded by jungle... Some time, may expect to see snakes... Oh my goodness... I hate snake!!!<br /><br />Aha... after the tour, we start our jorney home... =p<br /><br />For now, I need to decide what course to choose. Also, I need to go back to TARC to find a lecturer to help me write a reference letter.<br /><br />Going to Nottingham again this sunday. To submit my application. Hope that they can give me an offer letter on the spot. <br /><br />Untill then. This means my 2 years probational period is over. But, over this 2 years, I never practice and drive. So, I think I should use this time to practice it.<br /><br />Then, I also need to decide what course should I take after my A-level. This is a very difficult task. It reminds me two years ago, after I finished my SPM exam, I dont know whether to go a-level or STPM.<br /><br />Exam result is coming out soon. What have I did in this one month time? Everyday wake up after 10am, eat, sleep, play online game until late night(2-3am)... Not like me, eat well, sleep well, PLAY well!!!<br /><br />I wonder among my friend, who got play the online game, Perfect World? I am playing the chinese version one. Now only train until level 62(going to be 63 today! =p) haha...<br /><br />After all, I start to worry about my result! Sigh... I wonder when it will be released? This make my heart beat faster than normal when I am thinking about it!<br /><br />And, now... another 4 days to christmas. I will be going to Penang on the 23rd of December. Since Form 1, I will go to Penang once every year, celebrating christmas at there. Actually its a boring place! Accept that the food there are quite delicious! Thanks to Boon Kin, it's was quite boring actually... haha...<br /><br />Then, after the movie, they went home. While I still stay in One Utama to buy my Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows! Ah! I have been waiting for so long... Now, I can read it! haha... (Although I already know the ending! How sad! Thanks to the media who is so pro and efficient, let me know whats the ending few months ago...)<br /><br />Ah.... Finished exam must relax myself! I shall do what ever I want.. Haha.. Don't know why I always feel sleepy when I look at my books and notes! sigh...<br /><br />I have tons of things to study... I really hope that I can finish all as soon as possible!<br /><br />Last friday, suddenly feel quite sad.... Because I won't be seing my class mates after exam, the days where we attend lecture, the precious moment we spent together...<br /><br />Then, start to worry what to study after my A-level? Finally... But, I think quite bad in the exams! Sigh...<br /><br />Well, life after the exam. How was it? Right after exam on 14th, went to sing k with my friends. We have a WONDERFUL time there! haha...<br /><br />18th June 2007 - 22nd June 2007:<br />Nothing special except everything resume to normal, STUDY... STUDY.... STUDY... Lecturers are aware that we dont have enough time to finish our syllabus before the trial exam, which is on the last week of August! Every lectures and tutorials, we are like riding rocket, launching into the gallaxy far away from Earth, with a extraordinary high speed. Why? Because lecturers teach so fast lo.... and, we are getting mad soon! haha....<br /><br />22nd June:<br />Went to sing k with one of my old friend, which I never seen her for at least 6 months I think! Also, that night watched Eye In the Sky, a Chinese show. Not bad!<br /><br />23rd June:<br />Went to watch Hot Fuzz, quite fun and interesting as well...<br /><br />24th June:<br />Went to sing k again! This time with my parent! We always think that New way's food is better! sang for 4 and a half hours! me solo only, parent just listen and eat only... haha...<br /><br />Well, I think that is all about how is my life after the exam. Should any one think that I went to sing k to often? Perhaps anyone who like to sing, tell me when you are free.... may be can go sing some more! hahaha..<br /><br />Okey... I shall end here. The Nokia N73 or N80?<br /><br />Today went to a shop and have a look on these 2 model, N73 is more slim and nice, camera (3.2mp with AutoFocus) also better than N80. While the N80, the camera dont have AutoFocus, but got WLAN or WIFI! Because now the college is having exam for all the Diploma students! Every one is doing their final preparation before going for exam! Now, I start to recall what I learned in Form 4 and 5! Kind of missed Biology... haha... Every models seems to have its own pros and cons, and are equally attractive... Nokia N95 is really good! But, look at the price, RM3100+!!! My goodness... haha.. ( This is the latest model)<br /><br />After due consideration, I have found one, the Nokia N80! Cost around RM2100. Still very expensive right? But, there is a few features that make me interested on it! 3.0 Mega pixels camera, and most important is the phone support WLAN or WiFi! I always wanna find a phone like this so I can go online even if I am at college. ( Thanks to the modern technology that enable us to connect to the internet through WiFi hot spot. And my college's canteen and library do have it!) Haha...<br /><br />Now, it come to a conflict in my innerself, should I buy it? It really cost a lot, and I am affraid that my parent will start to say SOMETHING ANNOYING again! haha...
